A performance by Atlanta rap trio Travis Porter in Albany, GA ended in violence Saturday. The trio of Ali, Strap and Quez were hitting the road to make several stops for more performances around the country. This time the ish hit the fans as multiple fights broke out resulting in several people getting arrested and one female suffered a head injury from the calamity sparked on the scene.
The group performed a three song set at a nearby amphitheater when violence erupted. According to a Police spokeswoman there were incidents of violence at three different locations including the city’s Turtle Park, Ray Charles Plaza and Oglethorpe Boulevard and Front Street.
In other news, the rap group garnered praise at BMI’s 13th annual unsigned showcase April 20 when they opened for Drake.
