Gucci Mane, his booking agent Johnnie Cabbell of Hitt Afta Hitt Entertainment, and manager Debra Antney;CEO of So Icey Entertainment are facing another lawsuit over failed concert appearances.
The latest lawsuit was filed in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania by William Marshall of Marshall Productions and Derrick Brown of Rockstar Entertainment. The two parties allege that Gucci’s representatives took two deposits of $13, 750.00 to book him for concerts in Pittsburgh last August, in which the rapper never appeared.
At the time the concerts were scheduled to take place, Gucci Mane was restricted from leaving the state of Georgia due to parole violations from a 2005 felony assault, in which he was eventually sent back to prison for 12 months on November 12.
Last year other concert promoters lashed out against Gucci’ management team, which was detailed in a 10 page article by Ozone magazine founder Julia Beverly.
The plaintiffs in this current lawsuit are seeking over $25,000 in damages, however as of yet no court date has been set.
