Eminem was spotted in Newark, New Jersey earlier today shooting a music video for his recently released track “Not Afraid” from his upcoming album Recovery.
The crew was seen filming the music video on Market Street in Newark,and Em was joined onset by longtime friend and Slaughterhouse signee Royce Da 5′ 9″.
During the filming of the video Eminem was dressed in all black as he walked down Market Street, as he was joined by a number of people who served as extras in the video.
There were also a large number of fans and onlookers,which security held back from disrupting the video,however Em did make time to acknowledge his fans by waving back to them.
Many of the fans also tried to hand Em CD’s and mixtapes of their demo songs, but were promptly stopped by police.
Eyewitnesses say that they began seeing the crew early this morning and that police officers had blocked off the streets well into the afternoon while Eminem shot the video. Some anonymous sources have said, that Eminem choose to shot the video in Newark because it was more low profile than nearby New York City.
Eminem’s album “Recovery” will be released on June 22.
