VH1 announced yesterday that Bun B, Lil Jon and T-Pain are among the performers who will help honor this year’s honorees at the 2010 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors show.
The show,which is now in its seventh year, will be paying tribute to the South’s contributions to rap music,in which this is the first time the show has honored an entire region.
Comedian Craig Robinson (The Office, Hot Tub Time Machine) will host the show this year, which is being taped at the Hammerstein Ballroom and will air on June 7.
Other performers include Paul Wall, Pitbull and Trina.
This year’s VH1 Hip Hop Honorees are Jermaine Dupri, J Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, Master P, Organized Noize, Luther “Luke” Campbell and 2 Live Crew.
