As first reported here, a representative for Keys and Swizz officially released a statement to People Magazine saying ,”[they]are expecting a baby and are engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year”.

Reports about Key’s pregnancy began to circulate around the internet after the singer was photographed performing in Birmingham showing, what appeared to be a baby bump.

This will be Key’s first marriage as well as first child. Beatz (real name Kasseem Dean) has two other children from previous relationships, Kasseem Jr. 3, and Prince Nasir 9. Swizz’s divorce from singer Mashonda was finalized two weeks ago, and the public announcement was made earlier this week.

Keys and Beatz have dated since 2008, and Keys is currently on tour promoting her latest album “The Element of Freedom”
