It was recently reported that rapper/producer Swizz Beatz and ex-wife Mashonda owe the state of New York $2.2 million in taxes,which were accumulated over the last four years.

The IRS filed a $652,727 lien against Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, on June 3 stating that he owed income taxes from 2008.

In addition to Swizz’s own taxes, the IRS also stated that his ex-wife Mashonda was included in a tax warrant stating that while married the couple owed $162,300.

The Detroit News reported that in addition to the $162,300 in back taxes, Swizz and Mashonda owes $556,986 for 2007 income taxes and $842,645 for income taxes in 2006.

Swizz and Mashonda’s divorce was recently finalized earlier this year. Swizz and fiance singer Alicia Keys announced that they were expecting their first child together last month and plan to get married later this year.
