In its first week, Tech N9NE Collabos: The Gates Mixed Plate became the #1 Indie album, #4 Rap album, and #13 on the Billboard Top 200. Features on the album include Devin the Dude, Glasses Malone, and Yukmouth.

When Lil Wayne called in to New York’s Hot 97 radio station this week from Riker’s Island, he shared some thoughts about dream collaborations upon his release from prison. Funkmaster Flex asked Weezy who he was most looking forward to working with and he said, “I’ve been saying to myself that I really want to do a song with either Andre 3000 or TECH N9NE.”
