Bizzy Bone wrote a letter to Grouchy Greg over at allhiphop.com that was posted on the site today. He announces that he’s no longer with Bone Thugs N Harmony and then ends the letter by stating he was asked by the group not to go on tour with them because he negotiated his own show money.
Here’s an excerpt from the letter:
My view was seeing how Bone Thugs n Harmony (in my eyes a mega legendary group) has been placed in a losing situation. This is the reason why I (BizzyBone) decided to go on my own and deal with labels of the Cash Money nature. To me it would be the ideal label for the likes of myself or even the entire Bone Thugs n Harmony group. Cash Money, Young Money and such labels as this know how to treat a artist.

They should have congratulated that man for even looking out in reference to the finances. This group has been struggling publicly for years. My small children know the songs because I keep them in rotation. It’s too many small fry rappers and groups that have blown up overnight. What is the problem with prospecting better resources.
Shameful that this BS is still going. and all the while the group fame is still where it was day 1… Shame on them. As for Bizzy Bone, keep looking for that solo deal, and keep your head up!!
