Hip Hop Weekly teamed up as a media partner this past year with Shiekh Shoes for the Shiekh Music’s Rip The Mic Tour 2010. Hit the jump to see the winners.

Representatives flew all around the country from Houston, Texas to Las Vegas, Nevada in order to find the next best-undiscovered Hip Hop and R&B artist. The 2010 winners Jon Doe of the R&B category and Dizzy D Flashy of the Hip-Hop category won a prized package that included a record deal consideration by Def Jam Recordings, a 10-15 date tour with Shiekh Music, music and artist promotions by Yo! Promotions and an endorsement deal with Reebok who sponsored the tour and released the official sneakers of the tour: Zig Energy and Zig Slash.

Jon Doe, winner of the R&B category in Shiekh Music’s Rip The Mic Tour, is the new face in the music industry that is ready to take R&B by a storm. Jon Doe is no stranger to the entertainment industry, his father a music producer and mother who is an actress helped to shape the way this young entertainer is today. Some of Jon Doe’s new music has been featured in hit reality shows such as “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” and “Bad Girls Club.” Prior to winning the R&B category of Shiekh Music’s Rip The Mic Tour, Jon Doe had already become very popular after the release of his hit single’s “Yo Body” and “Freaky in The Club” both produced by Prince Maestro. His bold yet sensual sound makes you want to listen to his music nonstop.

20-year-old Dizzy D Flashy is also a winner in the 2010 Shiekh Music Rip The Mic Tour. This up and coming hip-hop artist has gained attention from big moguls in the music industry and has made a name for himself not only in his hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada but also around the country. Dizzy D has already been featured twice on BET’s 106 & Park and is currently in the process of getting ready to release some new music.

R&B singer Jon Doe and Hip Hop lyricist Dizzy D Flashy both winners of this year’s Shiekh Music Rip The Mic Tour are ready to go to work and put out some new music for their already fans and new listeners.
