Scarface has been in jail since October, according to recent reports. The news, which was first posted online by gossip site MediaTakeOut.com, places the veteran rapper in the Montgomery County Jail in Conroe, Texas for not paying child support. His bail has been set at $50,000 but the former Geto Boys MC so far hasn’t posted the money.

A representative for the Montgomery County Jail confirmed the report with XXL that Scarface was arrested on October 13th for failing to pay child support and revealed that the charges stem from four separate cases. Charges were filed in Montgomery County, Harris County, Fort Lynn County, and in St. Louis, Missouri, and he is also being held for currently undisclosed federal charges.

Authorities have been looking for Scarface for a while, according to an unidentified source speaking to AllHipHop.com, and up until late last fall, the rapper had been able to elude them.
