Multiple sources have confirmed to that Foxx was assaulted by his friend and business associate, Breyon Prescott. The brawl took place inside the Avalon nightclub where R&B singer Usher was performing.
Breyon and Jamie were sitting at separate tables inside the club before the brawl started. When Foxx invited some of Breyon’s friends over to his table and didn’t invite Breyon, Breyon became upset and confronted him.
The two exchanged words then Breyon reportedly punched the R&B singer. Foxx immediately struck him back, inciting what one witness calls a “schoolyard stomp.”
Security quickly separated the two, throwing Prescott to the floor and escorting the Academy Award-winning actor out the back door. The entire incident happened right in front of Usher who was on stage performing his hit, “OMG.”
A source close to the situation tells RumorFix that tensions between the two “have been brewing for a while.” Another source adds that Breyon felt Jamie stole some of his music to use on his album. Here are the two during happier times:

I’m sorry..HOW dare you call Usher and R&B star…I’m sorry did i miss something? B/c let’s be Honest, I followed him his WHOLE career bought his albums, supported him, and for him to turn around and cater to a new generation of Pop- people who don’t know him, or never probably bought his R&B albums b/c they listen to people like F* eyed Peas(who won best r&b one year WHICH still dumbfounds me-) give me a break just like Dupri was saying, why would you go to another producer(pop) when i made Confessions with you and you still haven’t made anything remotley as good. he over here on stage with Justin Bieber;…UGH i’m sorry it makes me mad, i grew up to Usher, i never did anything to him to deserve this.
