Here is some fresh new hip hop/soul from a real artist coming from the publishing company(“Hard Working Black Folks”) of hip hop’s dopest doctor, Dr. Dre and one of the “baddest emcees whoever touched the mic”, Busta Rhymes’ new label, Conglomerate Records, the incomparable, Nikki Grier.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, here’s some dope music from a real awesome talent. In 2006 she was invited by a former Aftermath A&R to come and write at a session with his then boss Dr. Dre. That one session turned into Nikki Grier signing with Dr. Dre’s publishing company “Hard Working Black Folks”. Since then Nikki Grier has co-written “Fire” on 50 Cent’s “Curtis” album (50 Cent Feat. Nicole Scherzinger) and wrote and/or sung LEAD and background vocals for Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Stat Quo, Bishop Lamont, Raphael Saadiq, God Body, Ginuwine, and countless others. This past January, Busta Rhymes reported that he signed the “niece of the legendary Pam Grier” and Reek Da Villain to his new label, Conglomerate. Without further ado…….
