XXL dropped there 4th Annual Freshmen cover and everybody weigh in about how they feel about the selected crew, well let’s take a peek…

Big K.r.i.t, Yelawolf, CyHi Da Prynce, Kendrick Lamar, Diggy Simmons, Mac Miller, Meek Mill, Fred The Godson, Lil Twist, YG, Lil B….good list. Most on this list are already on their way to being major success stories and we take a look at last years freshmen, J. Cole, Nipsey Hu$$le, Pill, 1017 Brick Squad member OJ Da Juiceman, Wiz Khalifa, G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean, underground favorite Fashawn, Gary, Indiana rep Freddie Gibbs, West Coast phenom Jay Rock and the latest addition to the Atlantic roster, Donnis. About more than half of that list are doing ok in the arena of Hip Hop but just like last years oversights of artists like Jay Electronica, this year, we’re missing rappers like Vado and Tyga who should have been on this list but maybe HHW will have to set the game straight after our 1st annual award show this coming Fall. My predictions for this list is that Diggy Simmons, Big K.r.i.t, Yelawolf ,CyHi Da Prynce and Meek Mill will be big in 2011… I think Diggy Simmons is going to shock a lot of people on where he’s going but I see Drake numbers in his future…we’ll see.
