Forbes released their list of the richest artists in hip hop this week and Diddy topped all competitors with an estimated worth of $475 million. To formulate the list, Forbes considered current holdings, past past earnings, checked financial documents and consulted with several analysts, attorneys, managers and others. Only performers were considered. It’s that Dirty Money!!! Take that!

Forbes magazine says he makes more money than Jay-Z, 50 Cent or Dr. Dre; his personal fortune is about $475 million. He’s got his hand in every part the music business, fashion world, and Hollywood. So who is the richest man in hip hop?

That’s right, richer than Jay Z, Sean “P Diddy” Combs tops rap’s rich list.

The hip-hop mogul came out on top of the Forbes poll, which looked at the net worth of hip-hop performers. Diddy is a rapper, producer, executive, fashion mogul, and actor to name a few…he’s all over the place, and a crafty businessman.

Jay-Z came in at #2 with $450 million and Dr. Dre came in 3rd with $125 million. 50 Cent and Birdman -Cash Money Records co-founder Bryan Williams – tied in fourth place on $100 million each. Source
