Take a few moments out of your day today and reflect on well known african american civil rights movement leader and activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. If it wasn’t for this man, blacks wouldn’t have it like they do today. Let’s not underrate the power in his message. More after the jump..

Martin Luther King Jr was fatally shot after 6p.m. on this very day 43 years ago in 1968. He was in Tennessee on the balcony of his room. His “I Have a Dream” speech still lives on in many ways.
