Mysterious R&B group Weeknd have been releasing tracks on YouTube for a couple of months, nothing is really known about the group except that they are from Toronto and have some tie to Drake. Summer Heat!

This blendful joint is the Beach House sampling “Loft Music.” Musically the track is on par with both Drake and The-Dream, much like their collaboration. Lyrically the track has The-Dream-isms but also a little bit of Jerimiah’s clumsiness. To some this just sounds like normal bedroom R&B but the groups’s icy retake on Beach House’s “10 Mile Stereo” puts the group ahead of lots of mainstream R&B.
