Nas recently called into Hot 97 and spoke with Funk Master Flex about his new moves and when his album will drop. Nas fans have been waiting long enough, pop the link and read on.

When Funk Master Flex asked Nas what took so long to release his album he answered:

“I mean, you know, It’s was regular…..going through um taking your breaks and everything, you got to take breaks for life, you have to experience some life, so you can come back and talk about it……..you got to take time, step back from it sometimes so you can really reflect on everything around you…..I had to take that time out.”

Nas reveals that his album will be released in September of 2011 apparently he is ready. “I’m not playing with ya’ll on this album, I feel so good right now, I just appreciate life and everything like that..it’s time New York City, it’s time America!”
