Platinum-selling female rapper Foxy Brown was recently awarded the ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Award for being the writer and publisher of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Hold You Down (Goin In Circles).” The track was off Sullivan’s last album Love Me Back. The single reached the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop charts in 2010. The Brooklyn native has been working on new tracks for her upcoming double album Black Roses, dropping later this year.
