Hip-hop tastemaker Damon Dash, the Roc-A-Fella Records and Rocawear Clothing exec, can’t dash yet another tax bill. According to the IRS, he owes nearly $3 million in taxes.

Music mogul Damon Dash allegedly owes almost $3 million (£1.87 million) to the U.S. government in unpaid taxes.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS) bosses filed a lien against the star at the New York City Register’s Office last month (Jun11).

The papers, obtained by The Detroit News, suggest Dash owes $2,984,364 (£1,865,227) in unpaid tax bills.

Dash’s money woes hit the headlines in 2009 when two of his New York properties went into foreclosure and he was accused of owing $2 million (£1.25 million) in state taxes.
