According to reports, Lil Kim is signed to a major record deal with Universal Music Group.

It’s been quite some time since Lil Kim has dropped an official album and since her last major deal with Atlantic Records, but that’s over.

The pint-sized female rap pioneer has reported inked a deal with Universal Music Group, showing up as an artist on the roster on the label’s official website, UniversalMusic.com.

However, details about Kim’s deal with UMG is currently unknown.

It marks Kim’s first major label deal since parting ways with Atlantic Records years ago — where she released her last three albums, 2000′s The Notorious K.I.M., 2003′s La Bella Mafia, and 2005′s The Naked Truth.

According to Vibe.com, the rapper is hard at work on a new album, which includes the new yet-to-be-released single “Looks Like Money.”
