By now every one knows that rapper Big Boi of Hip-Hop group Outkast was arrested in Miami, Florida late yesterday (August 7th). And we also have an update from his attorney…

According to the Miami–Dade County Corrections Department, the rapper was in possession of a controlled substance which turned out to be MDMA and Viagra.

TMZ reports that he was arrested by customs and border patrol agents with dogs, as he was exiting a cruise ship.

According to reports, Big Boi is still in the Miami Dade County jail.

UPDATE:

“While BIG BOI was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired BIG BOI will be completely exonerated.”
