In July, the rapper announced via Twitter that he would be retiring from the hip hop business, following the release his forthcoming sophomore album.

In a radio interview following his tweet, he claimed that the fakeness of the industry was the reason for his premature retirement.

Talking to Calloway, the Gucci Mane protege expressed his wish to depart from the Rap industry.

“Nah, I am gonna retire,” he said. “I’m gonna retire from the industry. I’m not gonna kick it in the industry no more. I’m gonna do what I wanna do, how I started like from the beginning. I’m gonna do exactly what I wanna do.”
