The 2011 MTV VMA’s aired live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, last night Sunday (August 28). Jay-Z & Kanye West aka The Throne, Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Ne-Yo and Pitbull are some of the Hip-Hop/R&B artists who performed at the star-studded event. The biggest surprised of the evening was when Beyoncé announced that she’s pregnant with her and Jay-Z’s first child. Below are a few pictures of some celebs on the black carpet.

On the black carpet, Beyoncé announced that she’s pregnant. Bey was wearing a red-orange Lanvin Fall 2011 crepe one-shoulder gown. She paired it diamond earrings and green emeralds to complete the look.

Nicki Minaj is a one of a kind. She is trendsetter and I love the way she’s branding herself. She walked the black carpet as a “barbie” while dragging a rag doll as she arrived to the show.

Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend Amber Rose were looking stunning on the black carpet. Great look guys!

The talented Kelly Rowland was styling on them hoes in a black and gold fringed Fall 2011 Falguni & Shane Peacock dress. She paired it with some black studded Christian Louboutin.

Ne-Yo was looking all dapper in a gold sweater, dress shirt and a pair of dark denim jeans. Ne-Yo completed his outfit with a pair of brown suede boots.

Busta Rhymes

As always, Miami went hard. DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and Ace Hood were looking causal on the black carpet.

Kevin Hart kept it simple in a motorcycle jacket and a YSL belt.
