Game dethrones Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne from the top spot with the new release of his fourth album The R.E.D Album.

The R.E.D. Album sold 98,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It marks the third album from Game to enter at No. 1 following 2005’s The Documentary and 2006’s Doctor’s Advocate (2008’s LAX landed at No. 2 with 239,000).
If you’re looking for a taste of what the Detox is going to be like then you have to check out this offering. The album flows from song to song like a cinematic viewpoint into Game’s mind with Dr. Dre narrating the story like a Scorsese movie. The choices of the cuts were done perfectly and I liked this joint more than I like Throne and that’s saying a lot because I really love WTT. Experts are saying that next week, Lil Wayne’s Carter IV will undoubtedly take the number one spot but after hearing C4, he may take Game’s spot but he won’t take Game’s place. The R.E.D. Album is superb. And of course, that’s just my opinion.

Game celebrated on Twitter today:

“Im so f**kin happy right now I dont know what the f**k 2 do ! Thank yall again from the bottom of MY HEART ! Lamborghinis 4 EVERYBODY lol,” he wrote. “4 #1 rap albums !!! Seems like just yesterday I wanted to be a rapper now 4 albums later…… We here. Damn, life krazy sometimes.”
