On October 18th, witness the controversy-inducing rise and fall of A Tribe Called Quest when the Michael Rapaport-directed documentary Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest is released on DVD and Blu-ray by Sony Pictures Classics.

The film will be accompanied by commentary from Rapaport, each Tribe member, and several big-name hip-hop acts, including Pharrell, Common, Pete Rock, De La Soul, and Jungle Brothers. In addition, there will be three bonus featurettes included: Mike’s Journey, Bringing Beats to Life, and On the Red Carpet at the Los Angeles Film Festival Premiere.
