LA Reid is working night-and-day in hopes carrying on the Epic Records empire. The Hollywood Reporter says Reid is close to signing Atlanta based artists Outkast and Ciara.

Outkast’s Andre 3000 and Big Boi have been M.I.A. as a duo since selling millions of copies of their double album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. And it’s been more than a minute since Ciara has received attention for making good music. But it looks like we may be hearing from Outkast and Ciara again sooner than later!

There hasn’t been an official confirmation on the signing but if it does hold true, expect a big announcement to come soon.
