While Carmelo Anthony is busy planning a New York “charity game,” his wife Lala is making her theatrical debut in “Love, Loss & What I Wore.” Recently X-Rated Fusion Liqueur held soiree at 48 Lounge to celebrate Lala’s introduction in to the world of theater.

Love Loss and What I Wore, is an intimate collection of stories by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron. It’s based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman.

In the book, Love, Loss and What I Wore uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to. Directed by Karen Carpenter, the production is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors, who will perform in four-week cycles. Cast members have included Lala Anthony, Tichina Arnold, Tracee Ellis Ross, Brooke Shields, Pauletta Washington, Kristen Chenoweth, Haylie Duff, Minka Kelly and more.

The featured X-Rated Fusion Liqueur drinks at the star-studded event included:

LaLa’s Pink Xcessory

1.5 oz. of X-Rated Fusion Liqueur

Squeeze of Lemon

.5 oz. Agave Nectar

3 Raspberries

2.5 oz. Champagne

Muddle raspberries in shaker, then shake all ingredients except champagne. Strain into a wine glass with ice then top with champagne. Garnish with a raspberry and serve.

2 oz. SKYY Infusions Pineapple

2 oz. X-Rated Fusion Liqueur

Splash of Lime Juice

3 Pineapple Chunks

Crush pineapple in bottom of cocktail shaker. Add rest of ingredients with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish with pineapple slice.

Lala Anthony will be performing at the LoveLossStage in New York until October 30th.
