Radric Davis, also known as rapper “Gucci Mane,” appeared in the State Court of DeKalb County hoping to reduce his sentence for pushing a woman out of his car (YES A MOVING CAR) on January 28, 2011.

Gucci Mane was originally set to serve six months in prison and pay a $3,000 fine as well as restitution to the victim after pleading guilty to the charges in Atlanta. The charges consisted of two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct.
Gucci Mane’s protege Waka Flock Flame recently tweeted “Gucci home” and gave the impression that Gucci had already been released from prison, however court records showed otherwise. Gucci Mane is no stranger to court rooms and legal issues and after leaving jail in March 2010 he vowed to put his bad boy days behind him. ”My time in jail was trying, but I grew from it and am now a stronger and better person. I want to continue on a positive track and truly focus on being a role model to my fans and my community Gucci read from a prepared note to reporters. As far as his reduce sentence the victim and her attorney, BJ Bernstein, was present in court and will have an announcement soon.
