The hip hop community suffered a great lost over this past week with the death of rap legend Heavy D. As details are still developing Heavy D born Dwight Myers died suddenly Tuesday morning after visiting a doctor. Family and friends are waiting autopsy details. The funeral home that will hold a public memorial service for Myers confirmed that fans will be able to pay tribute. Here are the details.

E! News reports:

“A spokesperson for the Yannantuono Funeral Home confirms to E! News that a public memorial and visitation will take place for Dwight Myers on Thursday, Nov. 17, from noon to 9 p.m. The visitation will take place at Grace Baptist Church located at 52 South 5th Ave., in Mount Vernon, N.Y. The spokesperson, however, would not confirm the date of the private memorial/visitation and private burial.”
