Remember Shar Jackson of ‘Moesha’ fame and ex-wife of Kevin Federline? Unfortunately, she suffered a major tragedy a few days before the holiday after she, along with her son and cousin, found her former assistant hanging from a tree near her home.

According to Perez Hilton, Shar’s former assistant Justice was distraught when she visited her at her home in Corona on Monday. She eventually began drinking and getting emotional before storming out of Shar’s home. When he didn’t call or return after a few hours, Shar walked around her neighborhood looking for him, only to find him hanging from a tree in her gated community.

There’s no word on what he hung himself with. Shar along with her eldest son Donnie and her cousin Brooklyn cut him down and “tried to resuscitate him,” but he was already gone. Paramedics arrived a short time later and pronounced him dead. Shar has been under extreme distress following the whole ordeal, allegedly spending most of her time with her mother.
