A few months ago, it was reported that model and actress Amber Rose is in the studio recording a pop album, with the help of her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa. Billboard.com The Juice caught up with Rose at the Soul Train Awards and she gave them an update on the album and some of her upcoming projects. Below are some excerpts:

On working on her album and music career.

“I’m still in the beginning stages of it right now. I’m working hard. I’m in the studio every single day. I’m just really inspired and motivated,” Amber Rose told The Juice. “My music is like house-club music, fun dance music. I’m singing, I’m rapping, I’m talking a little shit.”

On if Wiz Khalifa is on her album.

“Of course! Of course, that’s my daddy!” ”I brought everything to him. He’s like, ‘Baby you have to do this. You have talent. You write all your stuff,’” Rose said of Wiz. “He inspired me to do it.”

On her collaboration with clothing brand “Members Only.”

“I’m designing for Members Only. It’s all leather, wools, [and] furs.”
