Platinum Plaque: Drake ‘Take Care’ Goes Platinum
Last month, rapper Drake released his sophomore album Take Care. After five weeks of being in stores, the disc is now officially platinum. Take Care debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 659,190 copies in the first week. Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later also debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, selling, 447,000 copies in the first week and over one-million copies worldwide.

YMCMB rapper Lil Twist recently dropped his new mixtape, entitled The Golden Child. The disc is hosted by DJ Ill Will and features collaborations with Lex Luger, Chris Richardson, Khalil, and Jae Millz.
