The most popular housewife from Atlanta NeNe Leakes recently snagged a role in the NBC sitcom The New Normal.

Reports The Urban Daily:

The New Normal is centered around a gay couple who is adding to their family by having a baby via surrogate. NeNe will have a recurring part as Rocky. Rocky is the gay couple’s lawyer’s girlfriend.

This sounds interesting. We’ve seen NeNe be the wise cracking, finger all in your face type on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She’s also played close to type on Glee as Coach Roz. So we will see how she switches it up for this new character.
