Over a decade in the game of hip hop, the powerhouse label that brought us 2002′s Cut Friends from Universal distributed Pure Pain Records artist, Camoflauge(RIP), is still going strong while the CEO Big Dawg is presently fighting federal charges again. We have come full circle. Introducing Roam Bad Daddy.

If you ask any major southern DJ about Pure Pain Records, its CEO, Big Dawg or their current artist Roam Bad Daddy, from Bigga Rankin, Black Bill Gates to DJ B-Lord or Greg Street, it would be unanimous when it came to the praise and/or the love. In 2003, the label was at the top of the game with a smash hit called Cut Friends by their now deceased comrade, Camoflauge and since then the label has continued to be successful as an independent imprint. CEO Big Dawg is currently fighting federal charges since last year and after a recent victory, is expected to be home early 2013. But the label is a family, so business is very much personal. The label continues to thrive while Big Dawg runs it from inside. Roam Bad Daddy is a veteran rapper in the game and with the label and here’s his newest offering, Kill me.
