The Official Numbers Are In And Rick Ross ‘GFID’ Tops Billboard Charts

Today Def Jam’s rapper Rick Ross received his fourth #1 album of his career and his highest first week ever. His latest offering, God Forgives, I Don’t sold over 225,000 copies in its first week, which was more than enough to earn him the number one spot on this week’s Billboard Top 200. To celebrate his #1, the Bawse tweeted to his 2.3 million followers. Read his tweet after the jump!

It’s official!!! “God forgives I Dont” no.1 Album in the Country selling 225,400 in its 1st week!!!!! @DefJamRecords #wellorchestrated,” tweeted Ross.

Ross 2006′s debut album Port Of Miami as well as Trilla and Deeper Than Rap also debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200. Teflon Don debuted at number two.
