Earlier in the week, we posted Aaliyah’s new track “Enough Said” Ft. Drake which was produced by Noah “40″ Shebib and is rumored to be the 1st single off her new album, which  is rumored to be executive-produced by Drake. Many people wondered if Timbaland and Missy were left out on this project and if Aaliyah’s immediate family supported the disc.

On Tuesday, Aaliyah’s brother Rashad, took to Facebook and stated that there is NO Aaliyah album in the works that is supported by her immediate family. “There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family,” said Aaliyah’s Brother Rashad Haughton.

Hot 97‘s own and celebrity blogger Miss Info took to her blog to share some insight on this situation. She also confirmed that “Enough Said” was released by Aaliyah’s label. Below how Miss info reported the story:

“According to our source, “Enough Said” was released by Aaliyah’s own label, Blackground Records, which is run by her uncle Barry Hankerson. The song wasn’t leaked by Drake.

As for how involved Drake is, I’m hearing he’s only on one song right now. But that Noah “40″ Shebib is producing a majority of the tracks. I’m actually looking forward to what 40 does with these unreleased vocals. His sound seems like a good match.

But for all the fans who can’t imagine an Aaliyah project without the input of Timbaland and Missy Elliott…great news! I’m hearing that Tim is getting involved. So far I’m hearing he’s producing 2 songs.”

Drake confirmed with Much Music during his OVO fest that he is working on an Aaliyah album with his producer Noah ’40′ Shebib and is hoping to get everyone involved. Watch the video below:
