Pop the top for our exclusive interview with The Game.

Timing is everything, and it’s no accident that the widely anticipated CD being released by Game coincides with the unlikely love story of double platinum-selling rapper Jayceon Taylor, better known as Game, and his straight-laced school teacher fiance Tiffney Cambridge, as they prepare to walk down the aisle in “Marrying The Game.”
Game, who returned home early one morning, exhausted from an all-night session in the studio, went in on a number of subjects for Hip Hop Weekly while his fiancée Tiffney listened in, and even contributed once or twice, as he discussed a number of controversial subjects.
HHW: People have been weighing in on the Jesus Piece album cover with the stained glass, red rag, Corvette symbol and LV glass. To you it’s just art; can you elaborate?
GAME: I don’t care what people have to say. If it’s not positive, I don’t want to hear it. We’re all human and no man can judge me. I think that before people make judgments on my life or my album cover, they need to step into the mirror and pass judgments on themselves. No one is perfect, no one is down here living holier than thou, so no one can question what I’m doing in my life.
HHW: Was Dr. Dre involved with the album in any way?
GAME: No, just lil’ ole me.
HHW: You have said that you have given your life over to Jesus. How did that decision come about?
GAME: When I first met Tiffney I was out there thuggin’ and I believed in God, but I wasn’t really reading The Bible and going to church. I thought it was all boring. I figured that one day if it was for me that it would happen. One day I woke up and called Tiffney and told her that I wanted to go to church to be baptized and ever since I did that I have tried to stay in The Bible as much as possible, reading and being in touch with the Bishop when things have happened in my life that need a little bit of guidance and counseling. I’ve got friends that go to church and we always talk about it. And on the second accord, no, I’m not Pastor Mase; I’m not perfect, I still have a life outside of that window that I find pretty cool, so I’m trying to find a balance and one day I will.
