New watch alert… HUBLOT! According to reports, Beyonce Knowles plunked down a whopping $5 Million to buy husband Jay-Z Hublot’s Big Bang timepiece.

The extraordinary timepiece, which has been dubbed The $5 Million Watch by Hublot due to its price, is set with 1,282 VVS G color diamonds.

The Big Bang was put on display at the BaselWorld show earlier this year and was said to be the most expensive watch exhibited at the show which is famous for its luxury timepieces.

The $5 million” a watch comprising no less than 1,282 diamonds.

“This is the most precious watch ever created by Hublot and its long-standing partner, Atelier Bunter in Geneva,” said Hublot.

The piece is the result of 14 months work, including that of a “master-cutter” from New York who fashioned the largest stones.

Jean-Claude Biver, president of the watch company, said it would be difficult to make a more expensive watch “because the surface of the watch is limited.”
