The classic hood drama “Menace II Society” turns 20 years old this summer. Directed by The Hughes Brothers, “Menace II Society” starred Larenz Tate, Jada Pinkett and Samuel L. Jackson.

Allen Hughes, one half of the directorial duo, stopped by Sway in the Morning to discuss the film’s anniversary. Hughes also described his first encounter with 2Pac, with whom he had a controversial relationship with thereafter. Source
