Kim Zolciak famously refused to share the proceeds from her 2009 hit single Tardy for the Party with her RHOA cast mate Kandi Burruss even though Kandi wrote and produced the song. Kandi is finally taking Kim to court.
When Kim and Kandi recorded Tardy for the Party, which was a major part of their storyline, they did so without any contracts in place.
Later when Tardy for the Party became a modest hit, Kim refused to give Kandi any money saying her lawyer told her she didn’t have to.
According reports Kandi filed papers in U.S. District Court yesterday seeking “damages for copyright infringement due to Defendants’ unauthorized and unlawful licensing, distribution and sale of Tardy for the Party.”
