The PA spitter is hard at work on his latest album….
After securing features from acts including Bruno Mars, Snoop Dogg and his wife Amber Rose, it looks like Wiz Khalifa is ready to step things up. For his fifth studio release, Wiz knocked out some recordings with UK crooner Adele.
Adele has recorded a collaboration with the rapper Wiz Khalifa, which may appear on his upcoming album. “I got a lot of guest appearances that I’ve already done, but none of them have been cleared for the album yet,” Khalifa told Fuse News. “I got songs with Miley [Cyrus], I got songs with Adele … I want to do something with Lady Gaga really bad.” Blacc Hollywood, Khalifa’s fifth full-length recording, is expected before the end of the year. It’s the follow-up to 2012′s O.N.I.F.C., which reached No 2 in the US but peaked at No 105 on the UK’s official albums chart. That record included guest appearances by Pharrell, Akon and Khalifa’s now-wife, Amber Rose. None of these cameos are on the level of Adele, whose second album, released in 2011, is already the UK’s fourth-bestselling album of all time. The 22-year-old has only very rarely appeared on other people’s songs, singing on tracks with Daniel Merriweather, Jack Peñate and the Raconteurs.
