Jay-Z and Beyonce don’t always address rumors, but when they do, they don’t hold back. Beyonce made a whole movie to dispel a few rumors about her pregnancy and life, and on Thursday, Jay-Z released “Open Letter,” a blistering diss track that takes aim at politicians criticizing the couple’s trip to Cuba, mocks stories about his new sports management company and even throws a bit of shade Barack Obama’s way. Once again, Sean Combs reigns supreme as Forbes wealthiest hip hop mogul with an estimated $580 million net worth.
Sean “Diddy” Combs rose to mainstream fame in the late 1990s rapping about his desire for Benjamins, otherwise known as $100 bills. A decade and a half later, he might need to consider some larger denominations—McKinleys, Clevelands and Madisons, perhaps—to express his wealth.

Flocka, who isn’t one to hold his tongue, responded to Gucci in a series of hateful tweets and retweets confirming that he was going rogue. Now, it seems Waka had a little bit more to say. (more…)
Throwing a little shade on Twitter goes a long way, especially when you decide to do it during one of the most anticipated pop culture events of the year. Destiny’s Child reunited during the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night for their first show in about eight years, and while fans were raving about it Keyshia Cole had something less-than-flattering to say about Michelle Williams, which really irritated some people.
