Young Money’s recording artist Tyga will be releasing his forthcoming LP, entitled Careless World: Rise Of The Last King on February 21. The disc has collaborations with Nas, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, J. Cole, Robin Thicke and others. In an interview with XXL mag, Tyga said that it took a while but he got a verse featuring Nas on the album. The track is called “Kings and Queens” that also features Wale.

Atlantic/Rostrum rapper Wiz Khalifa linked up with his Taylor Gang artists (Lola Monroe and Juicy J) for a new track, entitled “Oh Gee La.” The song is a remake of the Fugees classic “Fu-Gee-La” and was filmed in the studio. The trio had plenty of weed, liquor and cash in the studio, while recording the track. Khalifa signed Monroe and Juicy to his Taylor Gang Records last year. Peep the video below:

Platinum-selling singer/songwriter Ne-Yo recently left Def Jam and moved to Motown Records, according to Billboard.biz. Ne-Yo, who is also a Grammy Award-winning artist will bring his Compound Entertainment label to Motown Records and take on a creative role at Motown as senior VP of A&R. The former Def Jam artist will also serve as a producer and mentor to the label’s artists and also discover and sign new talent, as well as mark his debut as a Motown artist with his fifth studio album, slated for this summer.

Yes, tomorrow did come, now we’re waiting on the day after. On February 28, Brooklyn’s rapper Maino will be releasing his sophomore album, entitled The Day After Tomorrow. The disc is the follow-up to his debut album If Tomorrow Comes, which was released in 2009 and produced the platinum single “All The Above” Ft. T-Pain. Philly’s own Meek Mill was recently in L.A. and he stopped by The LA Leakers on Power 106. While on air, the MMG rapper dropped a freestyle over Drake and Lil Wayne’s “The Motto”. Tyga’s new album has been pushed back again. The disc will no longer be coming out on January 30. During a recent Ustream session, Tyga updated his fans on a tentative release date for Careless World: Rise of the Last King. “I’m excited to drop this album that I was supposed to drop like three months ago,” he said. “I just want ya’ll to know that it’s not my fault because it’s just a bunch of bulls**t that you gotta deal with when you’re putting out an album.” In the Ustream session, Tyga revealed that the disc will most likely hit stores in February.

Singer Chris Brown was recently spotted in the studio with Nas. Breezy also took to his official Twitter account @Chris Brown and revealed that Nas will appear on his upcoming album. Breezy new disc Fortune is due this spring. A visual for the single “Strip” Ft. Kevin McCall was shot and released. The album is also rumored to featured Asher Roth, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Sister, and will.i.am, among others. Nas new album will be out later this year.
