Former Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh is not only going to contribute to rap star Kanye West’s upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album but he is now hinting at a possible label move.

Although no ink has dried just yet, Mannie said there are talks taking place between him and Ye.
“Well, we working that out. I’m kind of funny about signing with people. Dude, I’ve been through so much,” Mannie said in an interview. “And I’m not saying I think Kanye is a bad person, but I can’t tell you what that is right now. It’s really on me, and what space I’m in. I’m not saying that I wouldn’t do it, but it’s gotta be something that makes sense for me.”

The hitmaker recently put in work on the forthcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album.

The event seemed to be packed to capacity and some of hip hop’s hottest artist stopped by to support 2 Chainz. Wu-Tang Clan’s own Raekwon was in the building to give 2 Chainz the NYC co-sign. Also announced today 2 Chainz signs to Def Jam.
