Travis Scott can officially declare himself Houston’s newest hometown hero, better yet, If Beyoncé is the Queen—then Travis is certainly the King.
Travis returned home May 11, performing to a packed out house at Houston’s Revention Music Center on theBird’s Eye View tour— laying claim to his thrown with one of the most energetic dynamic shows on the road this year.
In true homecoming fashion, the rapper stopped by Toyota Center just before his to show to lend his support for the home team during the Houston Rockets game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals against the San Antonio Spurs.
Fans begin lining up at 6pm to see the rap star take center stage after opening act—new comer Khalid.
The monumental show was so intense that 20 minutes in to his set fans had already begun to overheat—literally passing out from all the excitement pulsating throughout the venue.
To Travis defense, he clearly gave a disclaimer before starting his set to all attendees, “If you can’t survive this sh** the front door is right there, right there, right there”.
The rap star ended the night partying at Houston’s hot spot Jet Lounge with current girlfriend and Kardashian family member, Kylie Jenner.
