As “She Twerkin'” continues to be a radio smash, we caught up with Cash Out for an update on his career and new music.
HHW: You came on the scene in a major way with “Cashin’ Out,” then your album was pushed back. How did you feel about the album delay?
Cashout: Patience is everything, so there is no rush on our end. Top ten single right now, and we’re about to get ready to load up this second single that’s going to be real crazy. “She Twerking” is looking beautiful. It’s a possible number one single if it keeps moving the way it’s moving. We are top ten right now, six spins away from number nine.
HHW: Tell us about the new album you’re working on.
Cashout: The Let’s Get It album is going to be crazy, putting together some great features with Ty Dolla Sign, Rich Homie, Wiz Kalifa, Waka Flocka, Lil Durk, French Montanna. I’m just putting together a well-rounded project, this is totally different from my mixtapes. This is a well put together album — it has club bangers, EDM music, slow jams, conscious music just wrapped up into one. It’s a great project salute to all the producers Metro, Spinz, Willafool, 808 Mafia; I co-produced a couple tracks on there, so salute to me too.
HHW: Dope collaborations, will the “Trap House” with the Migos be on this album?
Cashout: No, that’s just a record we put together for the streets. It went crazy the day we leaked it out, and we just wanted to show what Atlanta been doing as far as with collaboration and things.
