When you’ve got dreams as big as the Eiffel Tower, explaining it to non believers will look like you’re speaking french to somebody in the trap. After all, traveling and living in Paris was a dream of Phillip Bilal’s grandfather, which inspired the rap moniker, Young Pari$.
Hailing from Houston, Texas but now residing in Cali, at just 18 years old artist Young Pari$ is preparing to do something the game has been missing…….and that’s make the young rappers step their bars up.
In a new era filled with “mumble rap”, YP is sure to stand out because the kid can actually rap. He’s being groomed the right way. Attending Parker Elementary School outta Houston, the same school super megastar Beyonce’ went to can’t hurt. He even caught the ear of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Yung Joc and scored a feature from him on his debut project titled “Sephia”
.Besides a feature from Joc, Jay Alexander makes an appearance on “Blak Amerikkka,” a socially conscious track about America’s police brutality problem.
Young Pari$ makes his debut on hiphopweekly.com
with his new self-titled 8 track EP. The project is blessed with production from grammy-nominated producers Composer and DJ Marley Waters. Production wise they throw countless alley-oops to Young Pari$ as he lyrically tomahawk slam dunks all over this project. Let’s hope YP starts a new trend in 2017…..and that’s for all young artists to take their pen game more serious. Hey, a guy can dream right?
