Yes, tomorrow did come, now we’re waiting on the day after. On February 28, Brooklyn’s rapper Maino will be releasing his sophomore album, entitled The Day After Tomorrow. The disc is the follow-up to his debut album If Tomorrow Comes, which was released in 2009 and produced the platinum single “All The Above” Ft. T-Pain. The Day After Tomorrow has collaborations T.I., Meek Mill, Roscoe Dash, Robbie Nova and more. Maino will also drop a new mixtape, I Am Who I Am on Jan 26. Philly’s own Meek Mill was recently in L.A. and he stopped by The LA Leakers on Power 106. While on air, the MMG rapper dropped a freestyle over Drake and Lil Wayne’s “The Motto”. Mill will be releasing his new mixtape, entitled Dreamchasers II next month. Tyga’s new album has been pushed back again. The disc will no longer be coming out on January 30. During a recent Ustream session, Tyga updated his fans on a tentative release date for Careless World: Rise of the Last King. “I’m excited to drop this album that I was supposed to drop like three months ago,” he said. “I just want ya’ll to know that it’s not my fault because it’s just a bunch of bulls**t that you gotta deal with when you’re putting out an album.” In the Ustream session, Tyga revealed that the disc will most likely hit stores in February.
