Over this weekend, Busta Rhymes and Rick Ross co-headlined the “Tru-2 Music” concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. This event also featured performances from YG and Eric Bellinger. Busta Rhymes brought out a couple of surprise guests including Swizz Beatz, Snoop Dogg, and Chris Brown, while Rick Ross performed his hits such as “Holy Ghost” and “Stay Schemin” from his latest mixtape, entitled Rich Forever. He’s coming to conquer it all. Platinum-selling rapper Lil Wayne will be releasing a memoir about his time in prison. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Grand Central Publishing has announced that the company will publish Gone Till November, a compilation of the rapper’s diaries that he kept during his eight months spent in 2010 on Rikers Island on a gun charge.” The book is scheduled to hit bookstores and online November 28. Gone Till November will offer a look of Lil Wayne’s experience in prison.
YMCMB recording artist Tyga forthcoming LP, entitled Careless World: Rise Of The Last King has been pushed back from it January 24 release date. A new date has yet to be announced. Tyga’s new single “Faded” Ft. Lil Wayne was released a few weeks ago and is currently making it rounds to urban radio stations around the country.
