A$AP Rocky recently performed at the House of Blues in Chicago. While he visited the Chi-Town, Rocky stopped by WGCI‘s “The Morning Riot” radio show for an interview. The 24-year-old RCA recording artist talked to Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot about the current state of Hip-Hop, Chicago’s rapper Chief Keef and the misconceptions of himself. He also dropped some bars over Future’s “Same Dame Thing”. Watch the videos below:
Rapper A$AP Rocky began filming the visual for his track “Brand New Guy” Ft. ScHoolboy Q, which is featured on his LiveLoveA$AP mixtape. Earlier in the week, Rocky released his new single “Goldie”. The track serves as the lead single off his debut album, entitled Long.Live.A$AP. The track was produced by Hit-Boy (“Ni**as in Paris”). Rocky is keeping busy these days. Last week he shot “Street Knocks” video with Swizz Beatz. His debut album is scheduled to hit stores and iTunes in July on Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records.
Over this past weekend, Brooklyn rap artist Theophilus London released his new track “Big Spender” Ft. A$AP Rocky. The song is featured on Theo’s upcoming project, Lover’s Holiday II: Rose Island dropping on May 15. On their duet, they’re spending a lot of money. The twosome are rhyming about designer brands such as Givenchy, Lanvin, Rolex, and Hugo Boss. They also rhymed about living the life in Australia, Paris and Belize. Listen to the audio below:
Back in January, it was announced that music artist Swizz Beatz was working on a new mixtape. RapFix caught up with Swizzy recently, he revealed that Rick Ross, Nas, DMX , The Lox and A$AP Rocky will all be featured on his mixtape. “When the Rick Ross mixtape Rich Forever came out that inspired me to do a mixtape because sometimes people need to get back into the element of what you do, since they see you doing so many different ventures,” said Swizz Beatz, confirming that, “My first single is with me and A$AP Rocky.”

This Harlemite signed a distribution deal with RCA/Pologrounds before he released his debut mixtape, entitled LiveLoveA$AP.
